Who we are and how we work
Certified domestic electrical services with fixed written prices (VAT, parts, labour and certification included). Based at Southwall Industrial Estate in Deal, we serve Deal, Walmer, Kingsdown, Sholden, Great Mongeham and Ripple. NICEIC approved and Part P registered — qualified electricians, full documentation and relevant certification provided; final bill will not exceed the quoted price.
What you can expect
If you raise a complaint, we’ll acknowledge it promptly, listen to what’s happened and review the relevant work, quotation and certification. We’ll keep you informed while we assess the details, so you understand the next steps and likely Resolution times.
You can expect us to:
- confirm we’ve received your complaint and record the key information;
- review relevant documents, including your written quote, electrical certificate and any photographs;
- arrange a visit where inspection is needed, at a mutually suitable time;
- explain our findings clearly and outline the available options.
We understand that unresolved electrical concerns can be stressful. Our process is designed to manage Customer expectations fairly, with clear communication and practical information throughout. If further information is needed, we’ll tell you what we require and why, helping avoid unnecessary delays.
Our promises
We aim to handle complaints fairly and set out commitments clearly before work begins: - Where we quote a fixed price, this will be provided in writing before work starts; if the scope changes we will confirm any price changes in writing. - We are members of NICEIC; membership is not a legal requirement but indicates we meet their membership criteria and standards. - We are registered for Part P competent person self-certification where applicable; homeowners should be aware that some electrical work must be notified to building control unless carried out by a registered installer. - We offer a 12-month workmanship guarantee; this is a contractual guarantee rather than a statutory right and its scope and remedies are set out in our terms.
If you believe we have not met these commitments, please tell us so we can review the matter and, where appropriate, put it right.
A fixed price in writing before we start
Before any work starts, we’ll provide a fixed price in writing that covers labour, parts and any required certification. Your written estimate will set out the agreed scope of work, so you can make an informed decision before we begin. This gives you price certainty and means the final bill won’t be higher than the quoted amount for that agreed work.
If you ask us to carry out additional work, or if an unforeseen issue requires a different solution, we’ll explain it clearly first. We’ll provide revised costs in writing and wait for your approval before proceeding. You’re never expected to accept extra charges without knowing why they are needed.
If you believe our invoice doesn’t match the written estimate, please contact us promptly. We’ll review the quotation, job records and invoice, then correct any genuine error.
NICEIC approved, Part P registered, fully insured
If you raise a concern, we’ll review the work, paperwork and relevant NICEIC compliance requirements carefully. We’ll explain what we find in plain English and give you a clear next step, whether that means an inspection, corrective work or further information.
Our Part P registration means we appreciate the standards that apply to domestic electrical work and notification where required. Our Public insurance provides additional protection should an insured issue arise. We’ll keep records of your complaint and communications, respond professionally, and take responsibility for addressing matters within our scope. You can expect us to treat your home, safety and concerns seriously throughout.
12-month workmanship guarantee
Our 12-month workmanship guarantee covers faults arising from our installation work, giving you a clear route to raise concerns after the job is complete. If you believe there’s a problem, contact us promptly with your invoice details, photographs where helpful, and a clear description of the fault. We’ll acknowledge your concern, review the work completed, and arrange an inspection where needed.
We’ll assess whether the issue results from our workmanship and explain our findings in plain language. Where covered, we’ll arrange appropriate remedial work without delay. If workmanship disputes arise, we’ll listen carefully, keep records of communications, and seek a fair resolution.
Our guarantee doesn’t replace manufacturer warranties or cover damage, misuse, alterations by others, normal wear, or faults in existing wiring. We’ll explain all guarantee exclusions clearly before confirming the outcome.
Where we work
We work across Deal and the CT14 area, including the Deal suburbs of Walmer, Kingsdown, Sholden, Great Mongeham and Ripple.
The fact that a property is in Deal, CT14, Walmer, Kingsdown, Sholden, Great Mongeham or Ripple will not change how we assess your particular concern about that Deal address.
Please keep any documents, photographs and particulars of the Deal job — such as the invoice for work at your Kingsdown terrace, any electrical or gas certificates issued for your Great Mongeham semi, and photos of the issue at your Ripple riverside property — available for our review. Where an inspection of the Deal property is needed, we will arrange a suitable visit to that specific address and assess the issue safely on site. We will explain our findings for your Deal property clearly and set out any corrective action, timescale and who is responsible before we carry out further work at that Deal address.
How to get in touch
To raise a complaint about work at your Deal property, call us on 07366 354 116 and provide your name, property address, contact details, invoice or quotation number where available, and a clear description of the issue. We’ll log your complaint, confirm we’ve received it, and make sure it reaches the appropriate person.
Please tell us the best time and method to contact you, and send any relevant photographs, documents or correspondence if requested. If your concern needs urgent attention, explain the safety risk when you call so we can prioritise it appropriately.
If you feel your complaint hasn’t been handled properly, ask for a phone escalation to a senior member of our team. You may also contact us through social media, but please don’t post personal details publicly; we’ll move the conversation to a private channel.
